MVA's move to annul general consent to CBI reversed

Exactly two years after the Mahavikasaghadi government led by Uddhav Thackeray withdrew general consent to the CBI to probe cases in state, the Eknath Shinde-led government on Thursday reversed the decision. This means that the CBI will now not require permission of the state government to step in.
