3rd power cut in MMR in 2 yrs due to grid failure

The transmission grid failure of the 400 KV Kalwa-Padgha line, the third such incident in two years, once again led to power outages in several parts of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region on Tuesday morning. Areas affected included parts of the island city, the eastern and western suburbs, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Kalyan and Dombivli.
