Chandiwal report is in, ‘lets off Deshmukh due to absence of evidence’

The Justice K U Chandiwal commission set up by the MVA government to probe corruption charges levelled by former CP Param Bir Singh against former home minister Anil Deshmukh on Tuesday submitted its 201-page report to CM Uddhav Thackeray in the presence of home minister Dilip Walse Patil and chief secretary Manukumar Srivastava.
